Handy Macally USB hub
Less wires and devices on my desk
My desk is getting cluttered with devices and wires such as an a cardreader, iPod, PMP (archos), USB (powered) stuff and so on. And most of this stuff also needs high-speed, powered USB ports on your computer. But, of course, there's always a shortage of those. My iMac only has three and one is permanently being used by my tv receiver. They're also located on the back which makes it hard to plug/unplug devices.
Macally's U2-HUBRD solves alot of these problems. It provides three powered USB 2.0 ports and a 7in1 cardreader. This way I can get rid of my old cardreader, the old unpowered hub I had, and now I have powered USB ports at the front of my iMac in which I can more easily plug/unplug devices.

I ordered the hub/reader at macstuff.nl . At first impression they have a nice shop and a nice collection of products, but I've experienced that they hardly have any stock. After you order something you wait for a long time (well, I consider days to be long if I wait for gadgets). Once it takes too long and you email them they finally give an estimate. It takes an average of one week before things get delivered which is, IMHO, too long for a webshop that's located in the same country.
The site is sometimes also annoyingly slow for unclear reasons, both when visiting anonymously and especially when logged in. This can be a real frustration if you quickly want to print the invoice so you can finalize your quarterly administration. I ended up printing out the e-mail they sent me.
