Money-desperate registerfly reverting to spam
Former domain registrar/ssl seller loses all customers, now reverting to spam
I bought an SSL certificate earlier this year at registerfly.com - they were cheap and I don't see a point in paying alot of money for a simple SSL certificate. However, a few months ago, due to mismanagement, lawsuits, downtime other trouble they lost their ICANN accreditation which means they lost all their domains. Still, somehow they survived and now they're spamming aggressively to get some customers back. Last few days, i've received four spams for my SSL certificate that's supposed to expire (in 3 months or so, and they even once claimed it would expire in just 5 days), and now they're sending spam for their domain services.
So I guess they must be really desperate for money and/or customers now, but with their current actions they definately lost me as a customer - I don't do business with spammers.
I'll find a new shop for affordable SSL certificates, and meanwhile I'm very satisfied with Transip and their management/registration interface.
